Tuesday Trend Watch: Shearling Upholstery

A little late to the party here (it ‘s June and we’re having a heat wave in the Boston area)! But I did notice over the winter (when it might have been more of an urge), a trend to cover upholstery in natural and faux shearling. Heavy Scandinavian influence (no wonder!). And found mostly on cushy, cozy chairs. Perfect for snuggling mid-pandemic. I’ve seen the fabric referred to as shearling, sherpa, sheepskin and boucle. But you get the drift. Here’s an assortment:
